Ventilation is very important for the inhabitants of the terrarium. If there are no holes in the tank, you can make them yourself or use a small hood attached to the top cover. It will ensure normal air circulation in an enclosed space.

Heating
Each reptile needs a place in a terrarium where it can warm up or cool down if necessary. Experts recommend creating a warm corner in the tank, heated by special devices.
Various lamps are used as heating devices: incandescent, mirrored, infrared, ceramic, moonlight lamp or thermal cord. You can also install a hot stone in the terrarium – an ideal source of heat for reptiles who like to lie on warm pebbles.
Lighting
Each terrarium must have an artificial lighting device that provides a long daylight day. The light should be bright enough, distributed from above. The device is attached to the lid of the tank. An LED, fluorescent or conventional incandescent lamp can be used as a light source.
UV irradiation
Many reptiles need ultraviolet radiation, which promotes the production of vitamin D and regulates mineral metabolism in the body. To provide UV radiation in the terrarium, special fluorescent lamps are used, which have a certain proportion of ultraviolet in the spectrum. By the way, such devices can also be used as a light source.
Humidity
To maintain a certain level of humidity in the terrarium, various installations are used: fountain pumps, fog and rain generators. In the absence of such equipment, the owner can periodically spray the tank walls, soil and plants with water from a spray bottle.
To control the humidity level and temperature regime in the terrarium, purchase a special thermometer and hygrometer.
