Known by the pseudonym “Hisa“, Hisatoshi Matsumura (an experienced photographer from Japan, known for his unique approach to shooting landscapes) decided to explore in more detail the samples of the world’s most revered mountain. Thus, a whole series of photographs was born called “The Four Seasons on Mount Fuji”, in which he captured the greatness and serenity of the iconic symbol of Japan’s natural beauty.
Throughout the year, he took an endless variety of photographs, trying to convey the image of the mountain at different times of the year: from the delicate pink shades of cherry blossoms framing the peak in spring, to images of a lonely giant under the cover of pristine white snow in winter.
